I am very grateful for all the generous donations that were given in order to help purchase items to take with me to Uganda! Here are a few pictures of the items I purchased with the money!

I purchased items to create 10 clean birth/newborn kits! I cut a paper-bag and wrapped each utility blade to help prevent any injury. It worked out nicely!

After washing the newborn items, I rolled up the washcloths and organized the items.

Then I paired them all up to put in the 10 kits...

I bought two rolls of plastic and cut it into 10 pieces for each kit to provide a clean surface for mother and baby. Bars of soap were cut into four pieces to put in each kit, along with three 10-inch strings, one pair of gloves, and 5 4x4 gauze squares and the blade.

Finally, I washed and folded body towels for the mothers and put everything together in a the plastic bags along with a pair of sandals for each of the mothers as well as a list of all the items in the kit.

I also purchased women's underwear and bras, toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, razors, and bars of soup. Furthermore, a family purchased and donated 7 pairs of children shoes for me to take with me.

I am still anxiously waiting for my Covid-19 test results but am trusting that God will bring everything together! Less than 24 hours left until Uganda bound!
