It has been awhile since I posted, I know...I want to share a few pictures from our adventures at Queen Elizabeth National Park a few weeks ago. It was an amazing experience! I was excited for all the animals I was able to see and capture with my camera. I was so thrilled to see a leopard and a lion! I plan to post more about the experiences at the villages soon with pictures but this will do until then. I appreciate your prayers and encouragement while I’m here in the Pearl of Africa! 😊

We were towards the end of our tour, when the vehicle broke down...The driver attempted to repair it but was having some difficulty. With not much else to do, I took a short nap. I felt much better after that power nap for sure! Our driver called for someone else who was in the park to come and give us a ride. There was rumored lions had been spotted. That is where we wanted to go! By the time we spotted Mr. Lion in the tree, our original driver pulled up. He had gotten the Jeep running 5 minutes after we left and he was trying to catch up to us the whole time! We carefully transported back to the Jeep right next to the tree where the lion was perched. We were instructed to move slowly, not to make any fast moves to avoid alarming the lion. We were successful! We continued to view a salt lake where salt is collected and then to tour the river to view more animals! All in all, it was a rewarding, amazing day! You’ll also see me and friends at the equator! Enjoy the pictures!
